Good evening,
I am currently looking for a solution that allows us to transform our .xml files (which we currently transform to .pdf documents via xsl-fo/antenna house) into Office 2003 compatible .doc files (not docx). Is Aspose.Word somehow usable in that scenario? Can Aspose.Word to xsl-fo to doc transformation? Or can it transform xps docs (which antenna house could create) into .doc files?
Cheers and thanks,
-Jörg
Hi Jörg,
Thank you for your interest in Aspose.Words. Aspose.Words does not support XSL-FO. Also, there is no way to convert XPS documents to Word documents using Aspose.Words, you can only convert Word document to XPS.
Please see the following link to learn more about file formats and conversions supported by Aspose.Words:
https://docs.aspose.com/words/net/supported-document-formats/
However, there is another Aspose product, which allows converting PDF documents to Word documents. It is called Aspose.Recognition. Please see the following link for more information:
https://docs.aspose.com/words/net/product-overview/
Also, you can try creating your own custom converter, which will convert your XML to word documents.
Hope this could help you. Please let me know in case of any issues, I will be glad to help you.
Best regards.
