Hello
I have installed the Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services license as per your documentation. However it is still providing the Evaluation page in the Excel file.
My objective is to have the .XLSX export support on the RS 2005 platform.
Kindly assist.
PS. I have downloaded the latest version of the Aspose.Cell for RS 1.4.1
Best Regards,
Thomas Mazejian

Hi,
Thank you for considering Aspose.
We have checked your license file and it works fine. Please see the attached document regarding different installation and configuration options of Aspose.Cells for Reporting Service and update your configuration accordingly. Please let us know if you have any issue or need any further clarification.
Thank You & Best Regards,
Please find system setup information.
In a nutshell: The evaluation page is not showing, however still it displays Excel error.
It seems that the license issue is solved, but there is another problem in your created Excel2007 file, right?
However, when I use Excel2007 to open the xlsx file embedded in your doc file, it doesn't show any error. Can you directly post the Excel file created with Aspose.Cells for SSRS? Please don't use Excel to save it. We will check the raw file to see what's the problem.
By the way, can you tell me the build number of your Excel2007? Mine is 12.0.6341.5001. Have you tried to open the file in another machine? Thank you.
Yes it seems to me Excel problem. By the way, is it mandatory to install your client on my PC? I just want to export reports, and not design them.
Excel 2007 version is 12.0.6341.5001 SP1 MSO
Please find attached the same report in .xls (normal using RS renderer), .csv (again RS renderer) and .xslx (Aspose renderer with error)

It is not mandatory to install the client if you don’t want to design the reports. You can only install the server as per your needs.
Thank You & Best Regards,
I have enabled the debug and attached the log file. Also I have created a new test report, which generates the .XSLX without any error.
It seems the problem is related to some feature:
I have suspicion from the following:
- Use of document maps
- Use of Excel Groups
Hi,
Thank you for sharing the RDL and generated XLSX files. We will look into your issue and get back to you soon.
Thank You & Best Regards,
I have confirmed that the problem is when document map is being used.
The same report with the document map is correctly generated by MS Excel renderer, but Aspose.Cells contains a bug with the document maps.
Hopefully you can fix this issue ASAP.
