Another issue is that one page of MS word is totally distorted after converting to PDF.

Please try the latest version of Aspose.Words for .NET i.e. 19.11 on your end and see how it goes? In case the problem still remains, please ZIP and upload your input Word document and Aspose.Words 19.11 generated PDF file showing the undesired behavior here for testing. We will then investigate the issue further on our end and provide you more information.
